The Data Engineer's primary job function is to build, maintain, document, and improve application integrations and data pipelines, for both operational and analytical systems.
Significant experience with industry leading data warehousing solutions and related technologies such as Synapse Analytics, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.
Significant experience in hosting applications using Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage.
Strong knowledge of standard enterprise integration patterns
Experience working with Google Cloud or similar major cloud services provider
Experience working with any mainstream object-oriented programming language
Strong knowledge of SQL or other mainstream query language
Strong knowledge of core data architecture concepts (primarily relational and dimensional)
Build and maintain the company’s data warehouse and associated data pipelines
Build and maintain the company’s application integrations
Assist with data migrations as-needed
